All turbochargers undergo the same intensive remanufacturing
programme, involving complete strip down and thorough cleaning
using pyrolytic technology. Bearings, piston ring seals and
bolts are automatically replaced; most of our turbochargers are
fitted with high capacity thrust bearing assemblies to ensure
maximum durability and service life.
All other parts are
carefully examined for damage and wear and any non conforming
parts replaced. Prior to final assembly the turbocharger
rotating assembly is then balanced on the latest computerised VSR machine at speeds approaching 250,000 RPM at the same time
oil flow rates are checked. All units are then calibrated to
ensure they perform within the manufacturer’s specifications
before undergoing final quality inspection and packing.
