Everyone at Ivor Searle would like to publicly wish our Chairman, Colin Searle, a happy retirement after 55 years at the helm.

He joined his father Ivor's business in 1967 when he was just 17. There were just two employees in the workshop then but half a century later, our business employs over 125 staff and is the number one choice for premium remanufactured major units throughout the UK and Western Europe.

Colin passed on his thanks to the whole team and leaves the business in the safe stewardship of his children, CEO Katie Hemmingfield and COO Andrew Searle and our Commercial Director, David Eszenyi.

In his parting message to staff, Colin said: ‘The business has been my whole life and although I have retired, it will be at the forefront of my thoughts always.”

All the best Colin and thank you from everyone at Ivor Searle. You made such a huge contribution to the world of remanufacturing both in the UK and internationally.
