We would like to inform you that we are currently pausing our Customer Own Unit (COU) engine rebuild service.  Please be reassured that this is only a temporary situation, whilst we replenish our engine stocks back to their usual level.

Ivor Searle is actively recruiting additional team members to safeguard against taking this action again in the future. We have a number of vacancies for employment at our industry-leading remanufacturing operations, where we are expanding our workforce to support customer demand for both Ivor Searle stock engines and COU rebuilds.  Our expanding team also supports the continuing growth of the Ivor Searle remanufactured product range and the extensive car and LCV parc coverage we offer.

Ivor Searle offers a wide range of reman engines for various makes of vehicles through our main production. On those rare occasions that we are unable to fulfil your enquiry with one of our stock or production engine units, then we may be able to offer a Customer Own Unit rebuild (COU).

This is where we collect the original failed unit and bring it back to our production plant to undergo the same intensive inspection and cleaning processes as our remanufactured products.

Our sales team will be able to discuss your requirement with you and offer you an inclusive price to rework/rebuild your engine back to standard that you would associate with all Ivor Searle products. You can be rest assured that the returned product comes with the same 12 month unlimited mileage warranty as all our remanufactured engines.

Once our quotation is accepted, our sales team will discuss the dress level and condition of how the unit is to be returned, and once a simple form has been completed and returned, Ivor Searle will arrange for its carrier to collect the engine for us to rework / rebuild. As long as the engine received is in a re-workable condition then a quick turnaround time will ensure the vehicle is quickly back on the road.
